Three Bridges on the Firth of Forth
After pick-up at your accommodation at 8:00am, we head west out of Edinburgh towards the Three Bridges, one of which we will use to cross the Firth of Forth to the Kingdom of Fife. Heading northward through Fife, we make for Aberfeldy, a sleepy & picturesque highland village. Here we will take a short break for snack, refreshments, and a wander.
From Aberfeldy, we make for Kenmore, another beautiful village, situated on the easterly banks of famous Loch Tay, where you will be able to view the Loch looking towards the West Highlands.
Then, we will use one of the most stunning roads in Scotland - along the way, we will take in magical forests and an epic vista over of Shiehallion, the fairy mountain & Loch Tummel called the Queen's View, dedicated to Queen Isabella, the wife of Robert the Bruce.
From here it is a short hop round to the day's main event - the Highland Fling Bungee Jump! The bungee jump is taken from Garry Bridge over the River Garry down into the beautiful Pass of Killiecrankie, site of a famous battle during the Jacobite Rebellions. This was the UK's first static bungee jump and has attracted thrill seekers like you from all over the world. A full video edit is available to purchase to document your entire experience. If you decide the bungee jump simply isn't for you, there is also the alternative of a bungee swing over the river.
Full information on our bungee partners can be found here:
Our day does not end there however! You will have worked up quite an appetite by this time so it's onward to lunch in the picturesque Victorian highland town of Pitlochry. Here there are many options for your taste and you have plenty of time to explore the town.
After lunch, we have more exploring to do and will head south towards The Hermitage. The Hermitage is a magical Perthshire forest where will walk through enormous Douglas Firs, the tallest trees in Britain. We will head towards the thunderous Black Linn Falls, a beautiful waterfall where salmon can often be seen jumping up the falls towards breeding grounds. We will also explore Ossian's Hall, named after the son of an ancient giant, and decorated with mirrors, sliding panels, and paintings.
After, we will take the home stretch towards Edinburgh, where we say goodbye at your accommodation at 6:00pm.
